Top ten blender box modeling tools

    10. Merge by distance ahh Merge by distance, making my computer not lag at every corner, I thank the blender people for this one it is essential to making your computer not lag.   9. O for proportional edit I only learned this tool later in my blender career but when I did learn it I was using it for everything that was organic. I used this thing on mushrooms and plants until I was happy with it. This tool allowed me to make things look unique, therefore it is an awsome tool.   8. F for fill Without this hotkey to fill geometry, I do not know what I would do I have spent so much time using this key on any number of things, from making cabinets, to making a stalactite. without this tool, I would be old and grey.   7. Mirror I should have added this closer to the top, but here it is. This tool is what makes your modeling take half as long as it would usually take you which is a while. This tool will save you hours upon hours of time. It is definitely worth the extra 1 minute to set up.   6. X to delete Yes, I have to add it, it is one of the most important tools you can have at your disposal because without it you are useless. you would be stuck with all your sucky geometry and it would be terrible.   5. Inset Inset is great because that is how you make any low poly weapon or hard object you inset it then you extrude it, and then boom you got yourself a hole. This tool is great for all sorts of stuff but mostly hard models.   4. Bevel The bevel tool is a must it makes almost all low poly models look smooth, and look great. it allows you to make a box from boxy to a square with smooth corners or a flat table to a normal-looking table   3. Loop cut This tool in edit mode is the bomb, it makes everything else look useless in comparison. this tool you can use on any object that has decent topology and it lets you do just about anything you want. I find myself mostly using it to make everything, it is just that useful.   2. Extrude Using this tool lets you do anything, it lets you make indents arms legs, you name it, if it is low poly you are going to use this tool if nothing else.   1. Scale I find scale to be the tool that I use the most, I find myself using it for everything from making a donut to making a skyscraper, it is used for everything you could want.   :). Ctrl Z I lied to you there is a golden pig and that is ctrl Z it is by far my favorite tool. This tool will let you take back just about any mistake, which is a lot. Without that button, I would have trashed tons of blender models. Mistakes happen all too often.   Bye
